Adrianna Bollaro

Licensed Associate counselor, somatic therapist & couples therapist

Telehealth - new jersey

I’ll help you slow down, tune into yourself, and build a life that feels a little more like your own.

You might think starting therapy feels like a big step, especially when you’re carrying stress, grief, relationship challenges, or patterns that feel hard to break. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from yourself, or unsure where to begin… and that’s okay. My goal is to meet you right where you are and make the process feel grounded, supportive, and genuinely collaborative, so you don’t have to navigate any of this alone.

My approach is simple: therapy should fit you. I do not believe in cookie‑cutter treatment. I take the time to understand your story, your strengths, and what you’re hoping to shift. I show up as a real person; compassionate, present, and direct. I fully believe that laughter has a place in the therapy room. Sometimes it’s the thing that helps us breathe again.

My background & approach

Hi, I’m Adrianna! I’m a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I work with adults and couples who are ready for meaningful, lasting change.

I specialize in grief and loss, trauma, OCD, and eating disorders including Bulimia, Anorexia, Binge Eating Disorder, and ARFID. I also support clients through life transitions, relationship challenges, and the work of building a healthier relationship with food, body, and self. When I’m working with couples, I help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create patterns that support a more secure and connected relationship.

My therapeutic style is eclectic and flexible because no single approach works for everyone. I draw from somatic and polyvagal‑informed work to help regulate the nervous system; Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore the parts of you that need attention; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to clarify your values and guide meaningful action; and Gottman‑informed methods for relational work. I also love incorporating eco‑therapy and expressive arts when it feels right...sometimes healing needs movement, creativity, or connection with the natural world.

At the heart of it all, I want to help you build a life that feels rich, meaningful, and aligned with who you truly are. Therapy with me is a partnership. You’re in the driver’s seat, and I’m here to support you with honesty, compassion, and tools that actually make a difference. I’m glad you’re here, and I look forward to connecting!
